In 1990, the number of urban popullation was 300 million, but by 2010, the figure had substantially risen to 666 million. In contrast, the number of village popullation experienced a significant decline of 160 million during the same period.

The core reasons for the observed phonomenon can be summarized as follows. To start with, Chinese society is undergoing an extensive and profound transformation. In my view, the fundamental reason for this phonomenon is the significant progress made by China"s economy is responding to these changes. In addition, an increasing number of young people in village believe that in modern society full of changes, challenges, and chances, finding jobs in urban is indispensable if they wish to achieve success in the long run. Considering these factors, the depicted phonomenon in the chart is unsurprising.

What about future trends? I"m confident that the number of urban pollution will steadily increase in the following decades. In contrast, the number of village popullation will likely continue to decline.
